Since I was a child, the world of pharmacy has captivated me like no other. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea of healing and helping others through the power of medication. I knew that becoming a pharmacist was my calling, and I never wavered from that dream.
Now, as I stand on the threshold of a new era, my childhood dream is within reach. The journey hasn't always been easy, but my passion has never waned. With each step forward, I became one step closer to fulfilling my lifelong ambition of becoming a pharmacist – a dream that has guided me since I was a child, and one that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
I am celebrating perseverance, intellect, and the pursuit of knowledge after 8 years of education, 1600+ hours of externship, the culmination of years of dedication, countless hours, and limitless determination. I have now reached the beginning of a new chapter filled with endless possibilities as Dr. Jasmine J. Horn, Pharm.D.

Making a difference
I am thrilled to have secured my future and will step into the next phase of a post-doctoral training as a PGY1 resident at THE Xavier University of Louisiana and University Medical Center of New Orleans to further hone my clinical skills in Ambulatory Care.
With my unwavering dedication, I am poised to make a profound impact on patient care and community health. I will fulfill my vision by practicing chronic disease management and community education.

As I stand here on the brink of a new chapter in my life, I can't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you.
Throughout this journey, you have been my pillars of strength, my cheerleaders in times of doubt, and my guiding lights when the path seemed uncertain. Your belief in me never wavered, even when mine did, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
Today marks not only the culmination of years of hard work and dedication but also a celebration of the incredible network of love and support that surrounds me. From the weekly threats to drop out, to the early-morning and late-night study sessions to the countless pep talks, each moment shared with you has shaped me into the person I am today.
As I step into this next phase of my life, I carry with me the lessons you have taught me, the values you have instilled in me, and the love you have showered upon me. I am filled with hope and excitement for the future, knowing that I have such an amazing group of family and friends by my side.
